Scouting Report

8/18/19- 6-foot-2, 170-pound right-handed throwing pitcher.  Good frame with room to fill out.  Jerky through delivery.  Steps and turns into balance point.  Lands across body down mound with shorter stride.  Throws from a high ¾ arm slot.  Fastball is straight with some life thrown at 82-83 mph topping at 84 mph.  Curveball has sharp 11/5 break thrown at 74-76 mph.  Change-up has down action at 75-77 mph.


 

PBR: Why did you choose the school you did?

Gregersen: Great coaching staff, Super friendly, and distance from home 

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with him?

Gregersen:  At a PBR event at the Edina dome 

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

Gregersen:  I am very relieved because now I can just focus on playing the game and having fun

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

Gregersen: The relationship I had with the coaches and the distance from home

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Gregersen: My parents, they have sacrificed so many things for me

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

Gregersen: I was hoping it would’ve been easier

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Gregersen: To be a starting pitcher

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

Gregersen: Playing baseball in the backyard with my siblings and dad

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?

Gregersen: Jack Erickson
