PBR Minnesota strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state.  While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

PBR: Why did you choose the school you did?

Posch: I felt really comfortable on my visit. Right away I could see myself going to school in Omaha. I liked the athletic and academic facilities. I built a strong relationship with Coach Porter and felt like I would develop well within their program.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Posch: I was considering a couple other D1 and D2 schools.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with him?

Posch: Coach Porter contacted me this summer. We kept in contact and he made the drive from Omaha to the Twin Cities to watch me pitch this fall. I was then on campus for a visit two weeks later.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

Posch: Absolutely.  I can relax and enjoy my senior year.  I am excited to see what my future in Omaha holds.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

Posch: UNO's facilities were great, and coaches were very welcoming. They are in the process of building a new baseball field for the 2020 season, which would be my freshman year. They also have a brand-new College of Business Administration building, and I plan on majoring in business.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Posch: My family.  I have the most supportive and loving family. I can't thank them enough for the travel and time spent to put me in the best position to succeed. I also want to thank Elite Sports Advising, Starters, and my fall coach, Augie Rodriguez. I appreciate the endless support and motivation to help me reach my goals.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

Posch: When I was an underclassman, I was told that if I was good enough that college coaches would find me, and I didn't need to waste my time on showcases and travel ball. I quickly found out that wasn't the case. I greatly benefited from the PBR showcases I attended and playing for the Starters this summer. Although it was stressful and repetitive at times, the recruiting process paid off.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Posch: The coaching staff's plan is to bring me in and compete for innings my freshman year.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

Posch: Winning the sub-state and making it to the MN State Legion tournament this past summer.

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?

Posch: Dylan Tebrake who now pitches for Creighton, kid is a stud.
