PBR: What other schools were you considering?
KRAUSE: University Nebraska at Omaha, Illinois State, Minnesota State, and Iowa Western CC.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?
KRAUSE: The coaching staff first saw me at a legion tournament in the cities. They later saw me at a PBR Top Prospect Games and contacted me a few weeks after that. Ever since then we were in contact often and started to develop a strong relationship.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?
KRAUSE: Yes, I feel very relieved that the process is over. It will be nice to focus on baseball and continue to grow up as player and not have to worry about college recruiting..

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?
KRAUSE: I really liked the coaches and players. I had a great visit and thought the campus and program was a great fit for me.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?
KRAUSE: My dad, Tom Senne, Joe Warren, Tom Lipari, Brett Thorney, Don Blunt, numerous teammates and other coaches along the way.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?
KRAUSE: I knew it would be pretty stressful going in. However, the process wasn't too difficult.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?
KRAUSE: They recruited me as a strong left-handed hitter and outfielder. So I hope to compete for a spot in the starting line-up and get a chance to play.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?
KRAUSE: Going 4-4 with a grand slam and 2 triples in a playoff game.

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?
KRAUSE: Brodie Smith.
