PBR Rank: #94 in MN 2017 Class

Evaluation:  10/24/16- 6-foot-4, 205-pound right-handed pitcher. #94 ranked in MN 2017 class. Will move up rankings once updated. Shows solid improvement across board. Fastball was 82-84 mph with late cut action across 2-planes. Breaking ball was sharper with varying 11/5-12/6 shape. Good action and fade on changeup. Recently committed to Concordia-St. Paul and should be a solid contributor for them.

PBR: Why did you choose Concordia-St. Paul? 
VOSS: I wanted a strong baseball program with excellent coaches.  I also wanted to be challenged academically.  Lastly I was hoping I could be close enough to home that my family could continue to watch me play.  CSP met all three of these goals.

PBR: What other schools were you considering? 
VOSS: I was considering Augustana, St. Cloud State, St.Thomas and Minot State.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them? 
VOSS: I was playing for Starters this fall in the Siebert Fall League.  The coaches approached me after one of the games and asked me to visit their campus.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school? 
VOSS: Yes, I'm relieved. I know I made the right decision and now I can focus on getting stronger this winter so I can help get the Hornets to State.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top? 
VOSS: I would have to say the coaching staff was the deciding factor for me.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today? 
VOSS: Justin Musil with Elite Sports Advising talked with me in the winter of my sophomore year.  He told me I could play baseball in college if I worked hard and set my mind to it.  Also all my coaches up to this point have been very helpful and helped me get to where I am today. Last winter I did Jim Brower’s throwing program which helped me prepare for the season. I also would like to thank my parents for their support all these years.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult? 
VOSS: The process was very exciting and difficult. Justin Musil helped me a lot by guiding me through the process.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season? 
VOSS: My hope is to come in freshman year and work really hard to get some innings in the spring.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date? 
VOSS: The most memorable moment was when my Legion team beat Shakopee to get to the State Legion tournament.
