X-FACTOR
The Falcons look to improve upon their 3-7 record in conference last season. If they can continue to improve throughout the season and compete against tough conference foes; they put themselves in a great position at the end of the year.
UNDERCLASSMAN TO WATCH
2016 Josh Thorp, a 5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitting infielder earned Honorable Mention All-Conference, All-Section, and All-Area recognition last year hitting .430 as a sophomore.
2015 OUTLOOK
Robbinsdale Armstrong looks to carry over the success they had at the end of last year; winning the Section 6AAA Championship. They lost 3 starting position players and 1 pitcher who logged 15+ innings to graduation; so experience will be on the field with 9 returners who contributed last season. 2015 Jordan Kuznia will lead on the mound; coming off a junior year where he earned 2nd Team All-Metro, All-Conference, All-Section, & All-Area honors. Kuznia racked up 54 strikeouts in 42 innings pitched last season. Troy Ouellette will set the tone offensively with a .354 batting average last year; and be disruptive on the bases as he has accumulated 23 career stolen bases. 6-foot-3 senior Jack Wibben, a 4 year starting pitcher, will also contribute heavily on the mound especially with tournament experience logging 8 career post-season appearances. 2-way players Lance Kilde and Matt Brachmeier- both seniors as well- will contribute to the fortunes of the Falcons. With 3 of their top 4 pitchers returning from last year along with their infield remaining intact; look for good things from Robbinsdale Armstrong this year.
