X-FACTOR
The Mustangs offense will come into question until they prove they can consistently produce runs after losing their best hitters to graduation.
UNDERCLASSMAN TO WATCH
2017 Bryce Norby who has shown the ability to catch, play the outfield, and pitch is Mora's most versatile player. The left-handed hitter has shown promise with the bat; possessing a clean swing with the ability to use both gaps. 2016 Nick Burski is also a player to watch who should be one of the team's leading hitters this year.
2015 OUTLOOK
Mora is comfortable with their pitching staff as they begin preparations for the season. Senior's Keyan Weaver and Austin Peterson will be looked upon to provide a 1/2 punch at the top of the rotation. While their pitching won't be overpowering; it's a group that will be competitive and throw strikes. Pitching to contact will necessitate the Mustangs playing solid defense throughout the spring. If Mora can play consistent defense and provide offensive support; they will have a chance to win this season in the highly regarded Granite Ridge Conference.
