On paper Monticello will have a battle with St. Francis, St. Michael, Chisago Lakes, and Buffalo to see who reigns supreme in the Mississippi 8 Conference.

NEWCOMER TO WATCH
2017- Nick Zwack. Head Coach Cole Deibele has high hopes for the 6-foot, 185-pound left-handed pitcher to not only contribute this season; but be a mainstay throughout his career on the mound and at the plate.

2015 OUTLOOK
Monticello should have some talent in the middle of the field; with 2016 Aaron Hanson behind the dish, Hanson providing stability in the middle infield, and 2016 Danny Blackstone- Honorable Mention All-Conference last season contributing on the mound and at third base. The Magic will lean on young players this season to contribute heavily; and expect to compete for a conference title in the competitive Mississippi 8.
