X-FACTOR
On the mound could be 2015 right-handed pitcher- Jack Conway. Conway, at 6-foot-4, 170-pounder with a mid-80's fastball transferred to Eagan and was unable to participate on varsity last season. His contributions along with others could spell the difference.
NEWCOMER TO WATCH
Not really a newcomer; but an underclassman of note- 2016 Nathan Kuhn returns for the Wildcats. Kuhn was an All-Section performer last season who excels defensively and was consistently on base with a .365 batting average while only striking out twice on the year.
2015 OUTLOOK
There is excitement for Eagan as they lead up to the season. Eagan returns 7 starting position players and feel good about the depth in their pitching staff. Peterson and Kuhn will hold down the left side of the infield, athleticism with numerous 2-way players who will also contribute on the mound and a deep crop of bats including 1B/OF Ricky Kamrud who has impressed with his ability to drive the ball to all fields with power, the Wildcats look to battle for a Suburban Conference title.
