What's New At The Top

Wyatt Mosley LHP / 1B / Dansville , MI / 2025

Report: Mosley moves into the Top 10 for the 2025 class as his progression and consistency has been on full display. A former ‘23 FG participant, Mosley committed to West Virginia shortly after Future Games. Featuring a compact delivery and quick arm, the fastball is deceptive. Along with an upper 80s fastball is a solid arsenal of offspeed with a changeup and breaking ball. Nearing 50 IP this spring, Mosley has only surrendered 10 hits, 2 earned runs while fanning a whopping 108 batters.

Brendan Thompson SS / 3B / Forest Hills eastern, MI / 2025

Report: One of the top uncommitted defenders in the state, Thompson has taken good jumps on the other side of the ball this spring. A consistent bat in the line up for Ian Hearn’s FHE Hawks, Thompson struts a .439 BA, 7 doubles, 5 triples and 1 HR stealing 14 bags along the way. A reliable defender in the middle has above average range and strong arm across the diamond. A prospect to see this postseason and summer.

Case Bosch LHP / 1B / Jenison High School, MI / 2025

Report: Coming in at 6’5 220, Bosch boasts a large frame and much projectability. The stock continues to rise with Case as each time we’ve seen him it's been dominant from Spring ‘23 to ‘24. Bosch offers a 3-pitch mix with a fastball riding up into the upper 80s (89 mph) with play of a fading CH and 2/7 shaped breaking ball. College coaches looking to add a LHP piece to their pitching staff should look no further than what resides in West Michigan. A strike thrower with reliability in big games who in 40 IP has only surrendered 2 earned runs, 6 free passes and striking out 66 in the always challenging OK-Red.

The Risers

Chad Brown RHP / 3B / Hemlock High School, MI / 2025

Report: A recent Central Michigan commit, Brown has established himself not only as a top player in the Great Lakes Bay region, but the entire state. A dangly 6 '5 230 pound frame, Brown has refined some of his offspeed and made increases with his velocity. Features a FB into the upper 80s (87-89 mph) and an improving SL with good swing and miss potential. The Hemlock native has been dominant to say the least this spring tallying 50 IP, 7 earned runs allowed, holds an .097 ERA walking 6 batters while striking out 97. Jake Sabol & Co. picked up a really solid piece to their recruiting class.

Brett Faccio RHP / OF / Midland, MI / 2025

Report: The rising Junior has cemented himself as one of the top arms in the Saginaw Valley League and carried the Chemic’s pitching staff this spring. With much work put in this offseason, there has been quite the transformation. Four starts with double digit punchouts, Faccio has gone toe to toe everyone else’s #1 starter. Much improved control on his fastball has led to higher strike percentage and higher strikeout numbers. In just over 50 innings, Brett has only given up 5 earned runs while issuing 15 walks to 87 Strikeouts. As the summer circuit ramps up here shortly, Faccio is a prospect to key in on early.

Jackson Miller LHP / OF / Lakeland, MI / 2025

Report: Our first glimpse of Miller game just under 12 months ago at our TPG-Trials. Then, Miller had a low 80s fastball with developing offspeed. The one thing that caught our attention was the underdeveloped frame and weight that could be added down the road. A recent Bowling Green commit now features a mid 80s fastball with a sweeping slider. Miller continues to emerge for Lakeland as one of the leaders of the staff.

Luke Demasse RHP / 1B / Dakota, MI / 2025

Report: DeMasse leads the pitching staff for a talented Macomb Dakota club helping them to a MAC Red championship earlier this month. DeMasse features an upper 80s fastball with effortless delivery and an improving body frame that will continue to fill and mature into the summer and fall. A riser for us as he has taken big steps in the offseason, committing to Ball State prior to the season.

James Dempsey C / Forest Hills Eastern, MI / 2025

Report: Dempsey has become a staple in the FHE lineup and made good jumps from winter to spring. A top performer at our Western Michigan ID event in March, Dempsey displayed a strong arm at 77 and peaked at an exit velocity of 96 in his BP round. Not your typical catcher, Dempsey also boasts a 6.88 60-yard dash making him a threat on the base paths with 14 stolen bases on the spring. A sturdy frame with quick wrists in his swing and balance has helped the junior to hit at the top of the order for Forest Hills Eastern, a ballclub looking to make a return trip to East Lansing for the Division II state finals.

Steven Fountain RHP / 1B / West Bloomfield , MI / 2025

Report: Fountain has been a consistent rotation arm for the Lakers of West Bloomfield this season logging 40 IP thus far with 5 wins fanning 62 batters along the way, allowing only 5 earned runs. Fountain has garnered interest from college programs around the region and could be the most projectable arm of the class with his 6 '8 frame and long levers. Steven sits consistently 85-87 with the fastball and a serviceable changeup to compliment the fastball. Making his way up the rankings, Fountain is an uncommitted prospect scouts will want to see this summer.

Newcomers

Benjamin Green RHP / 3B / Chippewa Valley, MI / 2025

Report: The lead ace for Chippewa Valley, Green has come on strong this spring for Gregg Sadowski’s ballclub. The Golden Grizzly recruit has put in much time this offseason and it certainly has paid off. A commitment to refining his craft has led to a jump in velocity from low 80s in spring 2023 to sitting upper 80s in 2024.
