By Cooper Trinkle
Jayce Lee, OF, South Bend Saint Joseph HS, 2024
A top 25 player in Indiana’s 2024 rankings. Uncommitted OF with a long, athletic 6-foot-3, 175 pound frame. Hits from an open stance and loads his hands to a lower handset. Quick hands with an uphill path. Lee hit a long HR to his pullside in this game, showing the power potential that he has. Finished the night 2 for 2 with 3 RBIs and a BB. Plenty of arm strength from the OF, was the top OF arm at Underclass Preseason All State (93 mph). Lee has added size and strength since last summer and has plenty of room to add more.
Uncommitted 2024 OF Jayce Lee (@jlee_42) gets all of this baseball for a no doubt HR to join the #PBRBombSquad. ??

Chase Bays, SS/RHP, Mishawaka Marian HS, 2024
Bays impressed at Underclass Preseason All State this offseason. Athletic, 5-foot-11, 185 pound build with room to add weight. Really liked his presence in the box. Calm, relaxed stance with a load that creates good separation at heel strike. Very clean swing path. Some present pullside power. Defensively, showed some fluidity in his infield actions. Tends to field the ball too deep. Showed average range, improved foot speed will help his lateral quickness. Quick arm from a ¾ arm slot. Projects more as an infielder at the next level but pitched an inning in relief, sitting 81-84 mph with a tight, 73-75 mph breaking ball.
Uncommitted 2024 INF/RHP Chase Bays (@cbays112) with an RBI 1B here for @Baseball_Marian.

Maddux Yohe, INF, Mishawaka HS, 2023
Lean, 6-foot-1, 170 pound Uncommitted 2023 INF. His best tool is his run tool, with H-1st times ranging from 4.18-4.27 from the right side. Instinctual baserunner. In the infield, Yohe has quick lateral movements and athletic actions. Good arm strength across the diamond. At the plate, Yohe hit leadoff and showed more of a contact approach. Gets the front foot down early and showed a simple, handsy swing.
Bryce LaSane, C/3B, Mishawaka Marian HS, 2024
LaSane has a long, projectable 6-foot-2, 175 pound frame with good athleticism. At the dish, he showed simple movements in the lower half and quick hands. Tends to get too downhill with his swing path. Behind the plate, showed mobile hips and soft hands. Multi-sport athlete.

Slow tempo delivery with some quickness in the arm from a high ¾ slot. Balanced, controlled finish. The breaking ball was 67-70 mph and had some tight action. Flashed a changeup at 75-76 mph. Solid command of all three pitches in this outing. Interesting follow in the 2024 class.

Andrew Wiggins, OF/RHP, Heritage Christian HS, 2023
The 6-foot-3, 200 pound Indiana commit got the start on the mound for Heritage Christian and threw 5 IP, allowing 3 ER on 5 H & 1 BB, while striking out 11. Athletic, lower effort delivery with a loose, quick arm. Showed command of his 86-89 mph fastball to both sides of the plate. Very good feel for his 76-78 mph slider with sharp, late break. He showed lots of confidence in the slider, with the ability to land it early in the count & use it as a put away pitch. His 77-80 mph CH showed some sinking action and was thrown from a similar release to the fastball. The two-way standout didn’t have his best day at the plate, but there is a lot to like about Wiggins’ offensive profile as well. Has swagger/presence in the box. Tall setup with a smooth, fluid load. Explosive bat speed. Tends to land hard on his front foot creating some inconsistencies.
