Paw Paw swept the Plainwell Trojans with the help from two big innings. Paw Paw scored four runs in the second inning and five in the fourth. Leading the way offensively for Paw Paw was Kyle Williams (Jr. OF) with one hit and two RBI.
Junio Kevin Suwarsky (P/OF) was solid on the mound. He struggled to find his command early walking four in the first two frames but settled in throwing six complete striking out six, allowing no runs on three hits.
For Plainwell sophomore EJ Finch threw 6 innings and was the unfortunate victim of the aforementioned big innings. The right-hander is long and lanky and showed some actions that could project as he continues to develop.
