We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Michigan's Last Chance Open ID Showcase. This was a great opportunity for 2015, '16,, '17 and '18 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories. 

In the coming weeks, we will be adding and updating profiles for each of the players in attendance, including complete analysis and video.

Andrew Waack, 3B/RHP, Ogemaw Heights, 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-9, 160- pound prospect. ¾ arm action with good downhill leverage on hitters. Fastball was 74-76 mph. 11/5 curveball with gradual break at 65-67 mph. Changeup with plus sink at 67-69 mph. Stays through the baseball well at the plate in a pull approach. Bat speed registered at 76 mph.

Brandon Leon, OF/SS, Howell, 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-10, 160-pound prospect. Clean athletic actions with glove and footwork in the outfield. Threw 77 mph from the outfield. Open to even stance, gets good separation in a middle to pull approach. Bat speed registered at 83 mph.

Cade Martin, C/MIF, Hartland, 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-9, 160-pound prospect. Creates a good frame for pitchers, receives well behind the plate. Pop time of 2.29-2.36. Fluid swing, creates good explosion through the baseball at the plate.. Bat speed registered at 71 mph.

Caleb Anspaugh, C/OF, Schoolcraft, 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-10, 135-pound prospect. Good athletic actions in receiving and blocking behind the plate. Pop time of 1.98-2.07. Clean action with his glove and footwork in the outfield with an above average arm. Threw 85 mph from the outfield. Ran a 4.18 home to first. Open to even stance, sound mechanics allow for an athletic swing through the middle of the field. Bat speed registered at 86 mph.

Cameron Gorny, SS/OF, West Bloomfield, 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-10, 155-pound prospect. Clean, ¾ arm action with repeatable mechanics. Fastball was 69-75 mph. Curveball with gradual break at 59-60 mph. Changeup with good sink at 65-67 mph.  Upright stance with a quick hand path through the middle of the field from the left side of the plate. Bat speed registered at 78 mph.

Cameron Waller, 1B/LHP, Western Christian, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot-2, 225-pound prospect. Big, strong body with ¾ arm action from the left side of the mound. Fastball was 80-84 mph. Curveball with gradual break at 63-64 mph. Changeup at 68-74 mph and knuckleball with good movement at 63-67 mph. Clean actions with footwork and glove at first base. Threw 80 mph across the infield. Ran a 4.40 home to first. Big strong body allows for good pull power in a short bat path. Bat speed registered at 89 mph.

Chase Gearing, RHP, Bishop Foley, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 150-pound prospect. Loose, ¾ arm action with ability to fill the strike zone. Fastball with arm-side run at 75-76 mph. Good movement to his curveball at 63-68 mph. Changeup was 66-67 mph.

Christian Alexander, C/RHP, Mattawan, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 193-pound prospect. ¾ arm action wrapping on his backside. Fastball was 76-78 mph with some sink. Curveball with gradual break at 67-68 mph. Changeup with arm-side sink at 71-72 mph. Soft hands with flexibility behind the plate. Pop time of 2.26-2.45. Finishes through the baseball well at the plate with some natural loft in his swing.Bat speed registered at 83 mph.

Conner Jensen, OF/2B, Milford, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 184-pound prospect. Clean glove with an accurate arm in the outfield. Threw 76 mph from the outfield. Sound fundamentals with glove and footwork on the infield. Threw 70 mph across the infield. Ran a 4.20 home to first. Loose athletic swing generating good bat speed in a middle approach at the plate.  Bat speed registered at 86 mph.

Connor Kin, 1B, Walled Lake Western, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot-5, 195-pound prospect. Clean actions with footwork and glove at first base. Threw 79 mph across the infield. Generates plus power behind big strong swing, middle to pull approach at the plate. Bat speed registered at 84 mph.

Connor McCarron, SS, Liggett, 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-7, 155-pound prospect. Plus actions and instincts at shortstop with soft hands and quick footwork at shortstop. Threw 71 mph across the infield. Balanced stance with a middle to pull approach, makes consistent solid contact. Bat speed registered at 78 mph.

Dante Reeves, SS, Dakota, 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-11,  150-pound prospect. Loose athletic actions with glove and footwork at shortstop. Threw 79 mph across the infield. Short stride with a quick hand path to the baseball in a pull approach. Bat speed registered at 74 mph.

Graham Girdler, RHP/3B, Seaholm, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect. Loose, ¾ arm action, baseball gets on you quick with good deception on the mound. Fastball was 79-83 mph. Curveball with slurve action at 66-68 mph. Changeup with some sink at 74-75 mph. Clean actions with footwork and glove at third base. Threw 76 mph across the infield. Sound mechanics, balanced line drive swing at the plate. Bat speed registered at 85 mph.

Grant Smith, 3B/RHP, Lakeland, 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-9, 155-pound prospect. Short, ¾ arm action with good tempo to his delivery. Fastball was 76-78 mph. Curveball with gradual break at 67-68 mph. Changeup with some sink at 73-75 mph. Athletic actions with glove and footwork in the infield. Threw 79 mph across the infield. Good balance in middle to pull approach at the plate. Bat speed registered at 76 mph.

Hayden Cross, 2B/OF, Haslett, 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-8, 140-pound prospect. Soft hands with good range, shows plus athleticism on the infield. Threw 70 mph across the infield. Excellent use of lower half in a gap-to-gap approach at the plate. Bat speed registered at 79 mph.

Jack Palo, 3B, South Lyon East, 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-10, 162-pound prospect. Good actions with footwork and glove on the infield. Threw 71 mph across the infield. Excellent hand path in a middle of the field approach. Bat speed registered at 74 mph.

Jack Patrick, C/3B, Chippewa Valley 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-10, 155-pound prospect. Good setup behind the plate with flexibility in his receiving skills. Pop time of 2.28-2.45. Open to even stance from the left side of the plate with a middle of the field approach. Bat speed registered at 71 mph.

Jack Shore, C/RHP, Portage Central, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect. Over-the-top arm action changing planes on the hitter well. Fastball was 79-81 mph. Curveball with slurve action at 67-68 mph. Changeup has some run at 64-66 mph. Showed good receiving and blocking skills with an accurate arm. Pop time of 2.09-2.33. Sound approach with loose line drive swing at the plate. Bat speed registered at 74 mph.

Jakob Ackley, SS/2B, Owosso, 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-9, 150-pound prospect. Open to even crouched stance, gets off backside well in a middle to pull approach. Swing path is slightly uphill. Bat speed registered at 76 mph.

Jeff Criswell, RHP/3B, Portage Central, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot-2, 175-pound prospect. Quick, ¾ arm action with an explosive lower half in a clean delivery. Fastball showed a heavy action at 83-86 mph. 12/6 curveball at 69-72 mph and changeup with good arm speed deception at 71-74 mph. Soft hands with an above average arm strength at third base. Threw 87 mph across the infield. Toe tap stride, creates good bat speed in a middle of the field approach. Bat speed registered at 89 mph.

Justin McIntyre, SS, Portage Central, 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 160-pound prospect. Athletic actions with footwork and glove at shortstop. Threw 76 mph across the infield. Ran a 4.40 home to first. Open to even stance, gets good extension through the baseball in a middle to pull approach at the plate. Bat speed registered at 84 mph.

Logan Mico, C/RHP, Grosse Pointe South, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot-2, 182-pound prospect. ¾ arm action keep his front side closed well. Fastball was 76-81 mph. Fills strike zone with curveball at 64-68 mph. Changeup was 72-74 mph. Creates a good frame with soft hands and flexibility behind the plate. Pop time of 2.07-2.14. Drives the baseball well to all fields using his lower half well. Bat speed registered at 76 mph.

Luke McGuire, 3B/RHP, Sterling Heights Stevenson, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 205-pound prospect. Quick, athletic ¾ arm action. Fastball was located down well at 83-86 mph. Slider with late cut action at 75-77 mph. Changeup with good sink at 77-79 mph.  Showed good range and soft hands fielding the baseball at third base. Threw 85 mph across the infield. Plus power and consistently squares the baseball up at the plate. Bat speed registered at 94 mph.

Marcus Cipriano, 2B/OF, Detroit Catholic Central, 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-6, 145-pound prospect. Agile footwork and fundamental use of glove in the outfield throwing 81 mph. Quick twitch actions with footwork and hands on the infield. Threw 78 mph across the infield. Good use of lower half in a pull approach at the plate. Bat speed registered at 73 mph.

Matt Gushee, 1B/RHP, Liggett, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 230-pound prospect. Quick, ¾ arm action with a smooth delivery. Fastball was 79-82 mph. Curveball had a good late sharp break at 68-69 mph. Changeup showed good deception at 74-77 mph. Soft hands with agile footwork fielding the baseball at first base.Threw 70 mph across the infield. Creates good leverage in balanced pull approach at the plate. Bat speed registered at 88 mph.

Michael Gumbko, C, Forest Hills Northern, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot-2, 160-pound prospect. Strong bodied catcher with good receiving skills. Quick, short arm action for a pop time of 2.03-2.12. Good leverage on the baseball at the plate with excellent use of his lower half. Bat speed registered at 75 mph.

Scouting Report: 6-foot, 165-pound prospect. Good flexibility behind the plate with soft hands in his receiving ability. Pop time of 2.04-2.22. Clean actions with glove and footwork throwing 73 mph across the infield. Short stride with quick hands in a middle to pull approach at the plate. Bat speed registered at 86 mph.

Nate Jones, OF/RHP, Battle Creek Lakeview, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot-3, 165-pound prospect. Long, loose, athletic ¾ arm action with repeatable mechanics. Fastball with plus arm-side sink at 81-83 mph. Curveball with plus control and bite at 65-68 mph. Changeup with some sink at 76-78 mph. Plus actions in the outfield with footwork and glove. Threw 86 mph from the outfield. Ran a 4.21 home to first. Loose athletic hands with plus bat speed from the left side of the plate. Bat speed registered at 89 mph.

Nathan Reuter, MIF/OF, Lakeland, 2017
Scouting Report: 5-foot-8, 138-pound prospect. Quick feet and soft hands at shortstop. Threw 68 mph across the infield. Clean actions with footwork and glove in the outfield. Threw 73 mph from the outfield. Hits ball well to all fields, line drive approach with direct hand path. Bat speed registered at 77 mph.

Nicholas Rauch, RHP/1B, Howell, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot-3, 195-pound prospect. High-¾ arm action with clean mechanics. Fastball was down in the zone at 75-77 mph. Slider with good bite at 68-71 mph. Changeup with some sink at 66-68 mph. Soft hands with good lateral movement fielding the baseball. Threw 68 mph across the infield. Consistently makes solid contact in powerful gap to gap swing. Bat speed registered at 84 mph.

Nolan Anspaugh, OF/2B, Schoolcraft, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 155-pound prospect. Clean athletic actions with footwork and glove, lanky body allows for good range laterally. Threw 83 mph across the infield. Ran a 4.15 home to first. Open to even stance, aggressive swing with some power to the pull side.  Bat speed registered at 81 mph.

Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect. Quick athletic actions with footwork and glove at shortstop. Threw 81 mph across the infield.Aggressive swing with a middle to pull approach at the plate. Bat speed registered at 83 mph.

Sean O’Keefe, RHP/C, Saline, 2017
Scouting Report: 6-foot-3, 215-pound prospect. 3/4 arm action with a smooth fluid delivery. Fastball shows good arm-side run at 83-84 mph. Curveball shows late break at 65-66 mph and changeup with cut action at 67-69 mph. Creates a great frame for pitchers to throw to. Receives and blocks at a high level with arm strength behind the plate. Pop time of 1.99-2.12. Creates big time bat speed with a short hand in an aggressive approach at the plate. Bat speed registered at 94 mph.

Scouting Report: 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect. Quick, ¾ arm action with long levers. Fastball was 78-80 with arm-side run. Curveball with slurve action at 64-66 mph. Changeup with arm-side sink at 72-73 mph. Big framed body behind the plate who gives pitchers a visible target, good receiving skills. Pop time of 2.24-2.40.
