PBR: Why did you choose Aquinas?
Jacob: It felt like home. I loved the campus atmosphere and the coaches.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Jacob: Northwood, Calvin and Kalamazoo
PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you?
Jacob: My Freshman year in high school at the Aquinas HS baseball tournament. I caught both games that day due to an injury to our senior catcher.
PBR: What team do you play for in the summer and what is your most memorable moment?
Jacob: 131's. Tie between pitching in the finals at the Notre Dame tournament and throwing three runners out in a must win semifinal game to help Keegan Kenny (SVSU Commit) get the 2-1 victory.
PBR: Now that you have committed, what are your remaining goals for high school?
Jacob: Conference, District, Regional championships and to be a leader for my teammates.
PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced?
Jacob: Freshman year in practice- Walt Borkovich (MSU) and last summer John Baker (Hawks Gold and Ball State commit).
