The last time we updated the Class of 2014 rankings was back in June.  Fast forward three months and several hundred players later and it is time to update the rankings. 

Over the past three months we have scoured the state, watched countless hours of tournament games, and held multiple successful scouting events such as Top Prospect Games, Unsigned Senior Games as well as other Open ID events. Consequently, we have expanded the list from 125 players to 225 players.

With such a large expansion of the rankings there are plenty of new additions. Brad Boss (Bedford HS) burst onto the scene in late July with a big time performance at the Siena Heights Open ID and was signed shortly thereafter with Toledo.  David Cole (Southfield HS) is an athletic middle infielder outfielder who remains Unsigned. 

Other newcomers are catchers Ron Williams (Grosse Pointe South HS) and James Edwards (Howell HS).  A lot of new arms hit the rankings as well with the likes of Brandon DeFore (Catholic Central HS), Jamie Castiglione (Fenton HS), Tate Brawley (Niles HS), and Cliff Landess (Airport HS) and Craig Bosanac (Monroe Jefferson).

Some of the biggest risers in the class were Dazon Cole (West Bloomfield HS) making a jump up to the No. 3 slot and Alex Wagner moving 53 slots up to No. 50.  Brennan Williams (Walled Lake Northern HS) and Garret Bronkema (Edwardsburg HS) both jumped 20+ slots after performing well at the Unsigned Senior Games and having a great summer.
