With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Michigan is eagerly anticipating bringing the great state of Michigan the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.
Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Utica Eisenhower Eagles
Team Name: Utica Eisenhower Eagles
Head Coach: Jason Gendreau 165-81
Division: I
2015 Record: 18-16
Conference Record: Downriver League/13-5
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/1
2016 Team Strengths:
- Speed
- Offensive
- Much to prove defensively as the season progresses.
2016 Team Weaknesses:
- Pitching Depth in terms of experience. Talent is there, should be very competitive by late May.
Coach Outlook: "A bit older than a year ago,but still very inexperienced. Young talent. (1) returning pitcher with varsity experience."

- Andrew Szalkowski, 2016 INF. Power Bat, All Region as a Junior. 41 hits, 12 doubles, 4 HR. Fast
- Joe Zontini (pictured right), 2018 (Central Michigan University Commit) 1B/RHP. Starter as a freshman. Explosive bat
