2024 Future Games alum, Cruz Luna has taken the year by storm, and a standout performance at Lakepoint this summer has propelled the left-handed hitting catcher into the conversation as one of the best in the class. Standing at a strong 5-foot-9, 175-pound frame, the Archbishop Spalding backstop continues to impress in each look and the hit tool has certainly taken that next step throughout this calendar year. It's a smooth operation at the dish with a consistent ability to spray line drives to both gaps and alleys. Doubles power right now and as the frame continues to fill out and strength is added, look for power numbers to increase. Behind the dish, it's an athletic setup with added arm strength that shows carry on throws to the bag with quick and clean transfers. Athleticism and raw strength have always been things that jump out when seeing Luna, and an added run tool (6.99 60) only adds to the ability to impact the game.
