As our staff continues highlighting players across the Old Line State and Delaware this summer, we turn our attention to the remaining top uncommitted players across the two states. This edition highlights 2025 southpaw Caden Blanck from Severn School. 

The 6-foot-3, 188-pound lefty has taken 2024 by storm and has continued rising up college coaches lists. Living in the mid to upper 80s, Blanck attacks the zone early with the heater, working both sides of the plate and not afraid to pitch into right-handed hitters consistently. The sweeper is the "out-pitch" and plays extremely well off the fastball, showcasing the ability to backfoot right-handed hitters for swing and miss at will. The long, lean frame screams projection with plenty left in the tank and if the velo continues to rise, which I believe is inevitable, look for this lefty as one of the main "dark horses" as a late add out of this class.
