This week we release a full, in-depth, and expanded update to the 2027 class. This update gives a small expansion from 50 to 75 players, as the class comes more into focus after a busy summer. Below we highlight a few players that our staff had an opportunity to gather evaluations on this summer.
Anderson Lambert OF / 3B / Mcdonogh, MD / 2027Holding strong to the top spot, Anderson Lambert possesses some of, if not the most projection and raw athleticism in the class that continues to sky-rocket the stock in this prospect. Added strength this summer has produced increased power numbers at the dish, now consistently showcasing the ability to backspin to the middle with authority. The mound presence and ability is still present, working the fastball in the mid to upper 80s with the ability to spin for strikes. The actions are still raw, however, the shear strength and high-octane actions bode well for consistent success.

Malcolm Blaqman SS / RHP / Home School, MD / 2027Rankings StateRank: 4 / POS: 1
For the first time in our 2027 rankings, Blaqman rises inside the Top 5. The hit tool took that next step this summer with added barrel whip and quick hands that allow a line drive, whole-field approach to play consistently in each look. The body maturation certainly caught our eyes this summer, now standing 6-foot-1 and 160 pounds with proportional strength throughout. It's a high-motor player with above-average speed and play-making ability that impacts on both sides, while also running the fastball into the mid-80s at ease. Still raw and plenty of growth to come, look for Blaqman to continue rising through these rankings as the winter months draw near.

Emmett Robinson OF / LHP / Delaware Military Academy, DE / 2027Rankings StateRank: 11 / POS: 2
As the players in this class mature and add strength, new faces will certainly start to surface and Emmett Robinson fits this ideology to a tee. A standout at this summer's Virginia Summer Championships in Richmond, the wiry outfielder was on barrel consistently, wracking up a plethora of loud hits with evident doubles power to the middle. Quick hands, barrel accuracy, and advanced bat-to-ball skills were on full display, and the athleticism opened our eyes. As the body fills and strength is added, look for this left-handed stick to continue to slide up these rankings and add his name to multiple lists in this 2027 class.
