Jake Gelof SS / RHP / IMG Academy , DE / 2020Long, lanky, athletic body type. Projectable 6-foot-1, 172 pound frame. Hits from an athletic, balanced, slightly open stance. Smooth back load with a leg kick. Explosive lower half movements and quick hands. Explosive bat speed with an exit velo up to 95 mph. Stays on and behind the ball with an uphill swing path. Gap-to-gap type hitter with present pull-side power. Attacks the ball and plays through it in the outfield. Fluid footwork and clean exchange. Long loose arm actions throwing from a high three-quarters arm slot at 94 mph. Good life on throws. Active feet and fluid actions in the infield. Plays through the ball with soft hands and a quick, clean exchange. Up to 92 mph across the diamond from shortstop. Ran a 4.22 home-to-first. Side step wind-up into an athletic balance point. Down to out lower half and clean separation. Pitches with uphill shoulders from a high three-quarters arm slot. Quick arm speed and loose, whippy arm actions. Lands square and finishes falling off towards the first base side. Fastball sat 86-87 mph and topped out at 88 mph with some run. Breaking ball had 12/6 shape and sharp break at 73-74 mph. Changeup was 81 mph with late sink. |
Ryan Terrents SS / RHP / Huntingtown, MD / 2019Long, solid, athletic body type. Projectable 6-foot-3, 190 pound frame. Hits from a taller, athletic, open stance at the plate. Sinks into lower half with an inverted front knee load. Longer stride creates good separation. Explosive lower half movements, quick hands and fast bat speed. Exit velo up to 92 mph. Great extension through contact and stays on the ball well. Slight uphill swing path, gap-to-gap type hitter with some power to all fields. Fluid actions and plays with active feet in the infield. Gets through the ball with soft hands and showed a clean exchange. Shorter arm actions throwing form a high three-quarters arm slot at 88 mph. Ran a 4.25 home-to-first. Pitches from the stretch with front leg slightly open. High leg kick to balance and corkscrew delivery. Longer stride and explosive lower half drive off the rubber. Creates fast arm speed with short arm actions through release. Throws from a high three-quarters near over the top arm slot with some effort. Lands square with an athletic finish. Fastball was up to 85 mph with some run. Breaking ball had 11/5 shape and late sharp break at 72-73 mph. Changeup sat 74-75 with some fade. |
Dylan Young RHP / SS / Chesapeake (AA), MD / 2019Athletic, compact body type. 5-foot-9, 150 pound frame. Hits from an athletic, balanced, square stance. Smooth rock back load with a small leg kick. Creates good separation and gets some lower half involvement finishing high. Quick hands and fast bat speed with an exit velo of 86 mph. Fluid rhythm at the plate with a slight uphill swing path. Line drive type hitter with occasional pop. Showed fluid actions in the infield. Plays through the ball with soft hands and a quick, clean exchange. Throws with shorter arm actions from a low three-quarters arm slot at 82 mph. Ran a 4.22 home-to-first. Slow tempo, controlled side step wind-up to balance point. Clean, loose arm actions and nice lower half involvement. Creates strong back side drive and stays smooth through delivery. Quick, whippy arm speed throwing from a high three-quarters slot with regular effort. Lands square and finishes in an athletic position. Fastball was up to 82 mph. Big 12/6 shape breaking ball with later sharp action at 69-71 mph. Changeup sat 73-74 mph with slight sink. |
Brandon M Bradshaw C / RHP / CH Flowers, MD / 2021Strong, athletic body type and 5-foot-8, 185 pound frame with room to grow. Hits from an athletic, balanced, open stance with feet closer together. Smooth rhythmic load creating good separation. Gets very good lower half involvement and showed quick bat speed with an exit velo of 85 mph. Shorter uphill swing path, stays behind the ball well and finishes tall. Gap-to-gap type hitter with present pop. Short arm actions throwing from a high three-quarters arm slot. Quiet body receiving behind the plate and good footwork. Quick, clean exchange on pops ranging 2.08 - 2.29. Starts from a stretch position. Rocks back with a small side step up into a tall balance point. Smooth rhythm and some tempo in delivery. Clean separation and average lower half involvement. Creates quick arm arm speed through delivery. Loose arm, throwing from a high three-quarters slot with easy effort. Lands square to the plate in an athletic position. Four-seam fastball was up to 78 mph and changeup sat 71-72 mph. Cut fastball showed slight action and sat 72-74 mph. |

Noah Ager SS/RHP Stephen Decatur 2020
Solid, compact, athletic 5-foot-10, 160 pound body type and frame. Plays with active feet and showed good actions in the infield. Athletic movements and plays through the ball with soft hands. Short arm action throwing from a high three-quarters slot. Ball has some carry across the diamond at 83 mph. Showed some pop at the plate to both fields. Side step wind-up and high leg kick to balance. Good stride and lower half involvement. Smooth rhythm and level shoulders. Pitches in-line and lands square to the plate falling off to the first base side on finish. Fastball sat 79-82, topped 83 mph with slight arm side run. Nice sharp 12-6 shape curveball at 70-72 mph and gradual 10-4 shape slider at 69-71; both with fastball arm speed. Changeup showed some fade at 75-76 mph.
Austin Brown 1B/LHP La Plata 2019
Big 6-foot-1, 230 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, slightly open, wider base stance. Shorter, smooth back load and replaces front foot with short stride. Showed some lower half involvement and bat speed in swing. Exit velo up to 87 mph. Uphill swing path with power to the pull side. Gets in a balanced fielding position at first base and showed good hands. Longer arm action throwing from a low three-quarters arm slot. Slower, methodical side step wind-up and leg kick to controlled balance point. Clean separation and average lower half drive. Creates some arm speed through release and pitches with regular effort. Lands square to the plate and finishes in an athletic position over front side. Long arm action throwing from a low three-quarters slot. Fastball sat 73-74 mph. Breaking ball had 12/6 shape and tight, sharp break at 61 mph. Changeup had some sink at 67-68 mph.
Bobby Duffy 3B/RHP North Harford 2020
Solid compact body type and 5-foot-11, 190 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, slightly crouched, open stance. Smooth back load with a short uphill swing path. Explosive lower half involvement, quick hands, and fast bat speed. Gets really good extension through contact and stays behind the ball well. High finish and exit velo of 87 mph. Gap-to-gap type hitter with present pull side power. Plays through the ball in the infield with good hands. Showed the ability to really pick it. Glove tap in exchange. Throws with shorter arm actions at a high three-quarters slot at 81 mph. Ran a 4.03 home-to-first. Small side step wind-up into tall balance position. Sinks into back leg and gets down to out with lower half. Solid drive off the mound and clean hand separation. Shorter arm action and creates quick arm speed through release. Throws from a high three-quarters slot with regular effort. Lands square and finishes falling off to the first base side. Fastball was up to 81 mph. Breaking ball sat 64-65 mph with big 12/6 shape and gradual action. Changeup showed some arm side run at 71 mph.
Jeremy Huffman 3B/RHP Long Reach 2019
Solid 5-foot-8, 200 pound frame with a strong lower half. Hits from a taller, balanced, slightly open stance. Rhythmic hand load and inverted knee load with short stride. Generates good lower half involvement and showed quick bat speed with an exit velo of 79 mph. Level swing path and finishes tall. Gap-to-gap type hitter with some power. Nice fielding actions at third base. Plays through the ball with good hands and fluid footwork. Quick, clean exchange, shorter arm actions, and throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot at 81 mph. Controlled side step wind-up and delivery. Gets to a tall balance point. Creates quick arm speed through release with strong lower half drive. Shorter arm action throwing from a low three-quarters slot with some effort. Lands square and falls off to the first base side. Fastball sat 77-79 mph and changeup was 73-75 mph. Showed and 65-66 mph curveball with 10/4 shape and gradual break and an 11/5 shape slider with tighter breaking action.
Benjamin Russell: SS/RHP Salesianum (DE) 2020
Athletic, lanky body type. Projectable 6-foot-2, 160 pound frame with room to fill out. Hits from a wider base at the plate with an athletic, balanced, open stance. Drops hands in load and uses a toe tap for rhythm and timing. Good lower half involvement, quick hands and fast bat speed. Exit velo was 84 mph. Slight uphill swing path and fluid rhythm throughout swing. Gap-to-gap type hitter with occasional pop. Smooth fielding actions in the infield. Plays through the ball with soft hands, fluid footwork, and a quick, clean exchange. Shorter arm actions throwing from a high three-quarters arm slot at 85 mph. Showed the ability to make throws from different arm angles. Side step wind-up with a controlled leg kick into a tall balance point. Clean hand separation with average lower half involvement. Creates some arm speed through release and lands a little stiff on front side. Long arm actions throwing from a high three-quarters slot with regular effort. Stays in-line with home plate and finishes upright. Fastball showed some run up to 75 mph. Breaking ball was 68 mph with 12/6 shape and gradual break. Changeup sat 68-69 mph.
Alex Seidleck 3B/RHP Indian Creek 2021
Athletic, lanky 6-foot-1, 175 pound body type and frame. Moves well at third base and plays through the ball. Showed good hands with a slight glove tap in exchange. Shorter arm actions throwing from a low three-quarters arm slot. Up tempo side step wind-up and delivery. Fast leg kick and quick down to out lower half. Creates some arm speed through release and hides the ball well with his shorter arm actions. Throws from a high three-quarter slot with regular effort. Lands square with an athletic finish. Fastball was up to 76 mph. Breaking ball showed gradual break and 11/5 shape at 64 mph. Changeup was 67 mph with some dive.
Cameron Snyder RHP/OF Northern 2020
Athletic, long, lanky body type. Projectable 6-foot-2, 170 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, slightly crouched, and slightly open stance. Has a shorter quick load. Generates some lower half involvement and showed quick bat speed with an exit velo up to 80 mph. Uphill swing path, gap-to-gap type hitter with occasional pop. Plays through the ball in the outfield with fluid footwork and a clean exchange. Throws with long, loose arm actions from a high three-quarters arm slot at 82 mph. Get good carry on throws. Ran a 4.28 home-to-first. Side step wind-up and big leg kick into a tall controlled balance point. Clean separation and down to out lower half. Creates fast arm speed with shorter arm action. Throws form a high three-quarters arm slot with regular effort. Lands square in an athletic finish. Fastball was 78-80 mph. Breaking ball was tight and had sharp 11/5 shape at 68 mph. Changeup sat 67-68 with some dive. Smooth rhythm and more in the tank with more lower half involvement.
Aaron Winsker SS/RHP Hereford 2019
Athletic, lanky body type and 5-foot-10, 165 pound frame. Hits from an athletic, balanced, slightly open stance. Rhythmic hands and inverted knee toe tap load. Generates good lower half involvement with quick hands and fast bat speed. Exit velo was up to 82 mph. Line drive type hitter with a slight uphill swing path. Plays with active feet and showed good actions in the infield. Plays through the ball with soft hands and fluid footwork. Quick, clean exchange throwing with shorter arm actions from a low three-quarters slot at 82 mph. Ran a 4.16 home-to-first. Smooth side step wind-up and delivery. High leg kick into a tall balance point position. Long, free arm actions throwing from a high three-quarters slot with regular effort. Quick arm speed, landing square in an athletic finish. Nice lower half involvement and really gets over front side. Fastball was up to 82 mph and featured an 11/5 shape breaking ball with gradual break at 68-73 mph and a 72-73 mph changeup with slight sink.
