Ian Adams OF / Old Mill, MD / 2019

The senior Old Mill outfielder runs a 6.84 60-yard dash and is one of the key pieces in the Patriots lineup. The Patriots lost a heartbreaking 13-12 game to eventual Maryland Class 4A Finalist Severna Park last season in the 4A North Region Quarterfinals. Look for Adams to have a big season for the Patriots as they look to make some noise in the Region once again in 2019.

Derrick Booker OF / Archbishop Curley , MD / 2019

Booker looks to have an increased role on the Friars defending MIAA Championship team in 2019. The left handed hitting Booker had a really nice summer and can fly in the outfield and on the bases with his 6.72 60-yard dash speed. Look for the uncommitted senior prospect to have a big year for the Friars in 2019 if they are to once again compete for MIAA supremacy.

Nick Burch OF / Leonardtown, MD / 2019

Burch will once again be one of the main leaders for Raiders in 2109. The Navy commit runs a sub-7 60-yard dash and has stolen 34 bags in his three seasons thus far at Leonardtown. Burch will need to have a big campaign for the Raiders if they are to have any hopes of getting back to the State Semifinals as they did once before back in 2016.

Justin Caesar SS / 2B / Archbishop Spalding, MD / 2019

Archbishop Spalding shortstop Justin Caesar (UMBC) is back for his senior campaign and leads an extremely talented group of Cavaliers in 2019. The sub-7 60-yard dash runner will be a key cog in the lineup this year and his ability to get on base and make things happen will go a long way if the Cavaliers are to once again compete for a MIAA Championship.

Justin Carboni OF / RHP / Walt Whitman, MD / 2019

Justin Carboni (Pennsylvania) is arguably one of the fastest prospects in the state running a 6.65 60-yard dash and overall just an outstanding athlete. He speed makes him a game-changer in many ways from his ability to track a ball down in the outfield and save runs to causing chaos on the bases with over 20 stolen bases the past two seasons. If the Vikings are to make a run this season in the strong 4A West Region, Carboni will be one of the main reasons.

Kavi Caster OF / South River, MD / 2019

After two early exits in the Maryland Class 4A East Region the past two seasons at the hands of Annapolis, South River will lean on the senior leadership of Kavi Caster to help them get over the hump in 2019. Caster, a Salisbury University commit will patrol the outfield again this season for the Seahawks and look to improve upon his 18 stolen base campaign from last season.

Tremayne Cobb Jr SS / 2B / CH Flowers, MD / 2019

The University of Hartford commit looks to lead CH Flowers once again on the field in 2019. The Jaguars came up just short of playing for the Maryland Class 4A State Championship in 2018 losing a close 6-4 game to Severna Park in the State Semifinals. The speedy shortstop is a very good all-around prospect and has amassed 66 stolen bases over the course of the past two seasons.

Hiram Davis RHP / SS / Dover (DE), MD / 2019

The Delaware St. commit will double once again as a pitcher and shortstop for Dover (DE) in 2019. The Senators boast what looks on paper to be another strong squad this season and if Dover is to get over the hump and past the DIAA State Semifinals where they have lost in five out of the last six seasons (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018), look for Davis to be a big reason. Davis runs a 6.83 60-yard dash and makes things happen for the Senators offense.

Garrett Mcilhenney OF / Calvert Hall, MD / 2019

Mcihenney’s ability to get on base for the Cardinals in 2019 will be big as Calvert Hall looks to contend once again for an MIAA Conference crown. The speedy Misericordia outfield commit runs a 6.81 60-yard dash and will look to get on ahead of what looks to be a strong lineup in 2019 with the likes of Jose Torres (North Carolina State) and Parker Landwehr (Boston College).

Jerras Murray OF / OF / Howard, MD / 2019

Murray will be one of the key table setters in the Lions lineup in 2019 as Howard attempts to repeat as Maryland Class 4A State Champions. The electric uncommitted senior outfielder runs a 6.70 60-yard dash and can really make things happen on the bases.

Nicholas Newnam OF / 1B / St. Michael's, MD / 2019

Watch for St. Michael’s star outfielder and Harford CC commit Nicholas Newnam to have a big year. The Saints enter the 2019 season looking to make it three straight years playing for a Maryland Class 1A State Championship. After winning it all in 2017, the Saints came up just short in 2018 losing to Boonsboro in the Final. Newnam, a 6.70 runner is a combined 35-for-37 in stolen bases and has scored 69 runs the past two seasons. Expect him to play a major role again for the Saints this year.
