TEAM STRENGTHS:
Reservoir is returning 13 players that had starting time on the team.  All of the pitching staff returns as well.  Staff ace and the top ranked player in the state of Maryland Cody Morris will head up the pitching staff.  Morris, a South Carolina commit, has been getting lots of draft buzz with his great frame and consistent 90-92 mph velocity.  Also returning are Jack Berry (8-0 1.80 ERA) and Tony Grabow (3-0 0.50 ERA).  Grabow will be the main arm out of the pen with Drew Stone and Thomas Dewsbury complimenting the bullpen.  Jon Mierzwa will round out the rotation.

QUESTION MARK
Replacing C Danny O’Hagan will be the biggest hurdle for Reservoir.  The team leader worked well with the staff and left large shoes to fill.  Look for seniors Jeremy Harris and Mark Reynolds to vie for time filling that role along with freshmen Todd DelTufo pushing for time as well.
Replacing Joe Kearney at shortstop is also another big hole to fill.  His bat and glove will be hard to replace.  Look for a combination of Joey Janush to fill a vacancy in the middle with Eric Neiderhauser, Leo Estevez, and Bradon Chu to fill the offensive void.

WILDCARD
Eric Neiderhauser is a transfer coming in from the state of Florida.  The new player could be a welcome addition to the lineup.  He is a good sized first baseman and will also pitch some.  Look for him to make a splash on the offensive end for Reservoir.

OVERALL
With Morris heading up the rotation and the pitching staff back, Reservoir should have another strong season.  Look for them to make a strong push to repeat as 3A state champs.
