Level path at the plate with some extension through contact. Showed nice rhythm throughout swing. Did not play a position. ---- On the mound, has a compact delivery building up momentum. Sound arm action throwing from an almost over the top slot. Creates fast arm speed through release. slight finish to the first base side. Like to see better hand discipline through release to create better downward tilt on baseball; gets behind ball at times creating one plane movement. Gets some lower half involvement, like to see better hip load in stretch to not force arm to work so much there. Lively arm and more in tank as he gets stronger. Fastball has run to the pitch up to 86 mph. Breaking ball has gradual break and 11/5 shape at 69 mph. Change up shows fade at 74 mph.

6/4/17

Colton Knoble was 83-85 on the mound, topping out at 86. His breaking ball had 11/5 action on the pitch with gradual break at 67-69 mph. Was slower in the stretch 79-82, which should get better as he gets more hip load in his lift to keep more balance through out and create better drive from back side

11.5.16 - Projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 195-pounds. Ran a 7.69 60-yard dash with a 1.95 10-yard split. Hits from a wider square set up. Short load back with knee turn to hitting position. Level swing path with some bat speed. Some extension through contact. Exit velocity of 87 mph. Sound footwork in the field. Sound exchange, loose arm action. Infield velocity of 78 mph. ---- Tall controlled delivery. Slight drift in lift, but does get some hip load. Pitchers with regular effort and creates quick arm speed through release. Has a shorter arm action throwing from a high three quarter slot. FB up to 83 mph with slight run on the pitch. Breaking ball ranged from 65-67 mph with 11/5 shape and nearfastball arm speed. Change ranged from 71-73 mph with harder fade on the pitch and near fastball arm speed. Frame projects to have more in the tank as he develops. Should make a nice increase in velo as he matures.

5.15.16 - Colton Knoble has a strong 6-foot-1 170lb frame. Throws from a high ¾ arm slot with low effort. Delivery showed good rhythm and balance throughout.
