PBR Maryland State Player of the Year Announced

Peter Heubeck
Heubeck, a senior right-handed pitcher from Gilman School, delivered a statistically dominant season while helping lead the Greyhounds to a 2021 MIAA championship.
The 6-foot-3, 175-pound Heubeck went 8-2 with a 1.2 ERA in 64.1 Innings pitched. He struck out an astounding 101 hitters. Heubeck is committed to Wake Forest and is one of Maryland's top High School draft prospects in 2021.
Heubeck's all-around performance has earned him the 2021 Prep Baseball Report Maryland Player of the Year honors.
Heubeck edged out a highly competitive field of candidates, selected by the PBR Maryland team of scouts who covered the season throughout the spring. Player of the Year nominations are provided by high school coaches across the state. Player of the Year criteria includes, but not limited to, on-field production and positive character qualities that represent the state.
