Scouting Report
PBR Future Games 8/1/18
Athletic, solid frame at 6-foot-1, 200-pounds. Ran a 7.05 60-yard dash. Hits from an athletic set up at the plate. Short quick load to hitting position, closing off slightly. Short, uphill swing path at the plate wanting to elevate the baseball. Gets extension through contact and the ability to pull hands inside baseball. Gap to gap type approach at the plate. Exit velocity of 94 mph. Clean actions in the outfield with exchange and free arm action throwing from a high three-quarter slot. Throws had some carry to them at 84 mph. Hafer got into much better rhythm in his swing on game day three against North Carolina and put his best swings of the event that day with a single and loud out up the middle on a laser hit to second. When that rhythm is present, looks like could be a solid gap power guy who could hit for average.
