It's finally the Spring of 2022 and our PBR Maryland staff is back on the road covering the NJCAA and all 14 Maryland JUCO Conference schools, as well as some JUCO schools in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Throughout the JUCO season, we will keep a running log of scout notes with video included as we cover the season throughout the state.

Ivan Gonzalez UTL CCBC Dundalk
3.1.22: A prototypical leadoff hitter, Gonzalez utilizes his speed and athleticism to be a real table setter for the Lions offense. Barrel awareness is present, as he hits from a slightly crouched, balanced stance with a quick back load and some hand separation. Creates solid lift through contact with a slightly uphill swing path, showcasing a strong gap-to-gap approach with line drive tendencies. Notched a two RBI single to right center field against Harford Community College in their second game of the doubleheader.
Have liked the plate presence and approach from FR Ivan Gonzalez (@CCBCDunBaseball)
