After getting out to as many games and workouts as possible, we are proud to announce our first edition of the state rankings. There is not much of a surprise at the top of the rankings, as Reservoir’s Cody Morris has placed himself firmly in the No. 1 spot. What is a surprise is how much closer the gap between Morris and number two has become.
Hunter Parsons has been playing at a high level this spring and has pitched like a man on a mission of late for Parkside high school. Throwing in the low 90’s he has filled in nicely at the number two spot. Jack Alkire has made a jump as well this spring as there has been buzz about the young righty reportedly getting up to 93 mph this season.
As we are passing the halfway point of the Maryland high school season, there will be one more update to the 2015 rankings as the season comes to an end after the state championship. Here is your sneak peak at the top ten.
