Top Performances from the Bullpen Portion
Miles Colbert OF / LHP / Our Lady Of Good Counsel , MD / 2021Athletic, projectable 6'1'', 180 pound frame. Works up-tempo with a side-step wind-up and high leg kick to a tall, compact balance position with a quarter body turn. Drop and-drive delivery landing in-line to home plate with a slightly upright finish. Throws with long arm action from a high three-quarter slot with easy effort and creates some arm speed through release. Really like the control and ability to work both sides of the plate throwing both pitches constantly for strikes. Fastball sat 75-77 and touched 78 mph with some arm-side run. Breaking ball showed big 12/6 shape at 59-60 mph and worked 11/5 at times. Solid two-way player also which we'll talk more about in a later Scout Blog. Interesting uncommitted 2021 with a lot of versatility to offer a program here late.

Beck Urofsky 3B / RHP / Bethesda-Chevy Chase, MD / 2022Top overall performance of the entire event arguably goes to Beck Urofsky from Bethesda-CC. The 6'3'', 200 pound 3B/RHP showed power potential at the plate and an explosive fastball during the pen. The frame is strong, projectable, and easy to like. Pitches from the stretch with a high leg kick to a tall balance position with a quarter body turn. Showed uphill shoulder tilt in drive down the mound. Throws with a full arm-circle and shorter arm action from a high three-quarter slot. Fastball sat 84-86 and popped 87 mph with arm-side run. Breaking ball showed tight 11/5 shape at 74-76 mph and change-up was 78-79 mph. Very intriguing arm to follow with what figures to be more there down the road.
