The Commitment Corner spotlights those Maryland high school student-athletes who have made their decision on where to play their college baseball. This is a unique opportunity to get to know several of the states top talent and gain insight into their recruitment process and ultimately what made them choose the school they did. Today we speak with: Danny Rosenfield

 

COMMITMENT: DAVIDSON COLLEGE

 

PBR MD:  List any awards / accolades you received in high school.

• Honor Roll, Four-year varsity player

PBR MD:  Why did you choose Davidson?

• I got a great feeling from the coaches, the guys on the team, and the people at the school. Academically it has a lot to offer and I felt at home when I toured the campus.

PBR MD:  What do you plan to major in at Davidson?

• Economics or Philosophy

PBR MD:  What are some of your goals you would like to achieve at Davidson?

• I want to help lead this team to an A10 title, a deep NCAA tournament run, and put myself in a position to continue my baseball career after college.

PBR MD:  What other schools recruited you?

• Tulane, Delaware, Penn St, Columbia, W&M, Bucknell, Nebraska, Dartmouth, Virginia

PBR MD:  What was your favorite part about the recruiting process?

• Getting to visit many schools and find the places where I could see myself having a future. Also it felt very rewarding to see coaches at the next level recognizing the work I’ve put in and the things I’ve done on the field.
