Today we speak with: Alex Greene

PBR MD: List any awards / accolades you received in high school.
- Dean’s List, WCAC 1st Team All-Conference
PBR MD: Why did you choose Virginia?
- I chose UVA because I think its the best opportunity for me to get an outstanding education and play baseball at the highest collegiate level. I also felt at home in Charlottesville and with the coaching staff.
PBR MD: What do you plan to major in at Virginia?
- Business
PBR MD: What are some of your goals you would like to achieve at Virgina?
- Win the National Championship, get a degree, and get ready for professional baseball.
PBR MD: What are your plans this summer to get ready for school?
- My plans are to get better everyday and continue to learn more and more.
PBR MD: Are you playing summer baseball? If yes, who are you planning to play for?
- Yes, Richmond Braves
PBR MD: What other schools recruited you?
- Maryland, North Carolina, East Carolina, Penn State
PBR MD: What was your favorite part about the recruiting process?
- Visiting different schools and seeing how they differ from one another. Also, seeing what it’s like to a be a baseball player at those schools and then of course for me, choosing without a doubt in my mind UVA.
