Outlook
Leading the way this spring for the Eagles will be 1B/P Nate Jones, who hit .325 with 13 RBI and is the teams leading returning hitter. Aberdeen will need to find a replacement from their start Christian Melendez and his near .500 season at the plate last year. They will need Ryan Feathers and Brandon Brown to build off their 2017 campaigns and play bigger roles in the offense this upcoming season. Adam Siedlecki and Stephen Shultz were able to gain some valuable experience as freshmen last year and could see bigger roles offensively. On the mound, new faces will need to take the top spot on the mound. Jones should see more time on the mound along with Feathers, who could potentially form their 1-2 combo. This season looks like an interesting transition year for the Eagles.
