PBR Maryland Spotlight series takes a look at players that have attended past PBR events. With fall now in full swing, we will take a look back at players that attended events over the course of our first summer.

Player Name:  Elliott Brown
Primary Position:  C
High School:  Damascus
Grad Year: 2016

Scouting Report:  Brown has a solid frame at 5-foot-7, 163-pounds.  At the Western Maryland Prospect ID in June he showed a short and quick arm action throwing from a high three quarters arm angle. His velocity from behind the plate got up to 68 mph. He displays a quick exchange with pop times that ranged from 2.22 ??? 2.30. Quick feet and as balance get better should improve times. Hits from a slightly crouched stance.  Has average bat speed with a short, in and out bat path. Gap-to-gap type hitter. He ran a 7.4 60 yard dash and showed an exit velocity of 80 mph.
