The Hotlist: Class Of 2016 Winter Standouts
January 14, 2015
By Nathan Rode and PBR Staff
It’s winter and there are no games right now, but there is no offseason in baseball. Some players have been to events and workouts the last couple months. Listed alphabetically below are members of the 2016 class that have stood out during that time and they are all currently uncommitted.
Kevin Brenning, LHP, Moeller HS, OH
A 6-foot-5, 200-pound southpaw with a projectable frame, Brenning has an easy delivery and throws a bit across his body. He throws from a high-3/4 arm slot and his fastball sits 82-85 mph with scattered command. He showcases a slider at 7-71 with good spin and deception. He also maintains good arm speed on his changeup, which sits at 73.
