Louisiana State has been dominant in recruiting lately. The Tigers have commitments from three players in the 2016 PBR Draft 100 and four in the top 10 of the 2017 Overall Rankings. They had three in the top 50 of the 2018 Overall Rankings and just added a fourth in OF Elijah Cabell (Winter Park HS, FL). The No. 4 sophomore in Prep Baseball Report’s coverage area, Cabell is physical and athletic with a lean, projectable frame. He has good bat speed and showed he could handle velocity at the World Wood Bat Championship last fall. He also has good speed and a strong arm.
