In each season of recruiting the southern schools raid the New England area, looking for the next Matt Harvey. Massachusetts is one of the states that has a great deal of Division 1 talent within it.
In the past Vanderbilt (Rhett Wiseman, Tyler Beede, Adam Ravanelle) and Wake Forest (Max Tishman, Joe Napolitano, Aaron Fossas) have done well in Massachusetts but this past year took a different turn. Below we have an in-depth look at the student-athletes who have signed with schools outside the state of Massachusetts.
Maine Snags Two Massachusetts Prospects, including the No. 1 rated player
Andrew Noviello will take his two-way talents to Orono and be an immediate impact player within that league. Noviello has the skills to pitch on the weekends immediately and could hammer balls from the left-side early and often. Maine also added Colin Ridley, an outfield and first base prospect. Ridley currently attends Avon Old Farms.
