Zeph Arnold, RHP, Sacred Heart HS, LA
A College of Charleston recruit, Arnold has a lean frame at 6-foot-1, 175 pounds. A standout during the winter showcase calendar, he ran his fastball up to 90. He has an athletic delivery with a long, clean arm action coming through a high-3/4 slot with quality arm speed, solid balance and minimal effort. Arnold commands a quality three-pitch mix and repeats his delivery well. The fastball sits 86-90 with occasional arm-side life. The breaking ball shows 11/5 shape with solid spin and depth at 71-75. He also flashes advanced feel for a changeup with fastball arm speed and fading action at 78-82.
