We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2021 Scout Day: JR Woosox. This was a great opportunity for 2022-2024 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. 2021 Scout Day: JR Woosox - Quick Hits
THE BATS
- Brandon Cordero - Cordero is a big, physical right-handed hitter with juice to the pull side. Good looking hitter.
- DJ Prampin - Prampin is an athletic two-way player. The swing is fluid and generates a lot of solid contact.
- Michael Bokis - Bokis is a strong young right-handed hitter. The bat is quick through the zone, with a good feel
- Jack Boza - Boza showed a balanced swing with pop to the pull side, as he continues to get better.
THE ARMS
- DJ Prampin - Prampin is a hard throwing right-hander with a fluid delivery. The fastball was up to 92 MPH with late life. Showed the makings of a power slider as well.
- Miles Blake - Blake is a young left-hander with a live arm. Flashed a fastball in the low 80’s and a hard slider.
- Blake Samuelson - Samuelson has a loose arm that gets heavy sink on a low 80’s fastball.
- Lucas MacNevin - MacNevin was really impressive at this event. The young right-hander showed a quick arm and late, heavy sink on a fastball that reached 79 MPH.
THE DEFENDERS
- DJ Prampin - Prampin is an athletic outfielder with a strong arm and is a 6.7 runner.
- Nathan Germain - Germain is a fluid defender in the middle of the diamond.
- Michael Bokis - Bokis showed a live arm and athletic actions over at the hot corner.
