Trackman Files (Position Players): Baton Rouge Preseason ID

Alex Armand
Louisiana Scouting Director

Zachary, LA - The Baton Rouge Preseason ID was held on Saturday January 20, 2024, at the Zachary Youth Park, home of the Zachary High School Broncos.  This was our second event of the new year and consisted of uncommitted prospects from the 2024-2027 high school classes.  All players in attendance went through an extended pro-style workout, that included batting practice using Trackman and Blast, the 60 yard dash using Swift Performance, and much more.  After the completion of the workout, all pitchers were able to throw a bullpen using Trackman Baseball to capture critical data and metrics such as fastball velocity, vertical/horizontal break, spin rate, and much more.

Today, with the help of one of our tech partners, Trackman Baseball, we continue our post-event coverage with a closer look at the top Trackman metrics and data from the position players in attendance at last Saturday's Baton Rouge Preseason ID.
