Trackman Files (Hitting): Luccini Scout Day

Alex Armand
Louisiana Scouting Director

Lake Charles, LA - The Luccini Scout Day was held on Saturday May 18, 2024, at Barbe High School.  This was our first event of the summer and consisted of prospects from the 2024-2028 high school classes from the Luccini organization.  All players in attendance went through an extended pro-style workout, that included batting practice using Trackman, defensive evaluations, and much more.  After the completion of the workout, all pitchers threw live to hitters using Trackman Baseball to capture critical data and metrics such as fastball velocity, vertical/horizontal break, spin rate, and much more.

Today, with the help of one of our tech partners, Trackman Baseball, we continue our post-event coverage with a closer look at the top Trackman metrics and data from the position players in attendance at last Saturday's Luccini Scout Day.
