Metairie, LA - The New Orleans Rising Stars ID, our first rising stars event of the year, was held this past Sunday February 11, 2024, at Mike Miley Stadium.  This event was for players in the 2028 and 2029 classes and will serve as an identifier for future event-only events such as the Top Prospect Games, State Games, and the Junior Future Games.  All players in attendance went through an extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman Baseball, the 60 yard dash using Swift Performance, and more.  Pitchers finished off the event by throwing a bullpen, where they were able to receive their numbers and metrics, with the help of Trackman Baseball, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement and much more.
