The Louisiana High School Pitcher of the Week highlights the best individual pitching performance for a Louisiana high school player from the previous week.  Each week, high school coaches are emailed and asked to send in their nominees for Pitcher and Player of the Week.  If you wish to nominate someone for Player or Pitcher of the Week, please email Alex Armand at [email protected]

While there can only be one pitcher and player of the week, our Diamond Notes are intended to shine a spotlight on other noteworthy performances from the previous week.

2023 RHP Andrew prejean (holy savior menard hs)

 

 

WEEK 8 STATS

-Strikeouts: 9

-Walks: 4

 

Prejean has been throwing the ball really well all year for the Eagles and last week was no different.  The Meridian Community College recruit made a start last week vs. Iowa and turned in one of his best outings of the spring by tossing a complete game no-hitter with 9 K's.  Holy Savior Menard currently owns a 23-7 overall record and they finished district with a 10-0 record, on route to winning the district 4-2A title.
