Projectable and physical 6’4” 205 lbs. frame. Another interesting two-way prospect in the 2024 class. RHP starts in the middle of the rubber working to the left side through his athletic and smooth windup. Stays on line and directional to his target with some effort in the delivery. Short arm action releasing the ball from a ¾ arm slot produced a max FB velocity of 74 mph, sitting 72-73 mph. Showed the ability to land his 64-65 mph CB for strikes with good spin and break. Also kept same arm speed on his 67-68 CH that looks to be a good pitch that he can deliver to both sides of the plate. In the box, starts from a narrow and upright stance using a simple load and stride to get into the hitting position. Does a good job of using his frame as leverage, creating backspin and carry. Present gap to gap power. Max exit velocity of 92 mph. Moved well laterally in the IF, catching everything out in front. Quick and short arm action with a high ¾ release produced a positional velocity of 75 mph. Posted a 7.57 in the 60.
Projectable 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 84 mph. Begins in a balanced wide stance, has a wrapping load and uses a short stride to start his swing. Has quick bat speed, as well as a flat swing plane and high finish. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, recorded position velocities up to 74 mph; has sure hands, developing footwork and a clean exchange. Showed an-over-the-top slot and a compact arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 8.13. On the mound, he showed quick arm speed, had a high ¾ angle and a short arm action. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses high effort. Has a strong balance point with even shoulders. Has a falling off finish and lands square. Produced a fastball that came in at 70-74 mph. Shows in the zone command and some action on his tight curveball (60-61).
