On Tuesday, June 14, 38 prospects from across the state of Louisiana participated in the Prep Baseball Report Southwest Louisiana Open at Quality Sports Authority in Erath, LA.

Today, Prep Baseball Report Louisiana takes a look at the outfielders that were in attendance.

Outfielders

+ John Blanchard, Brusly HS(2017)
A 5-foot-10, 160-pound outfielder and left-handed pitcher with a medium, athletic frame. Quality athlete that posted a 4.1 home to 1^st time. Solid defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchanges and plays through. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with some accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 80 mph. Left-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, short stride and smooth load. Line-drive, gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, short path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 87 mph.

+ Bryson Broussard, Loreauville HS(2017)
A 5-foot-10, 185-pound outfielder with a strong, athletic frame. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchanges, and plays through balls athletically. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws producing a positional velocity of 83 mph. Left-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, short stride and quality lower half. Line-drive type hitter with fluid rhythm, short path and quality bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 83 mph. A quality athlete, also posted a 4.41 home to 1^st time.

+ Alex Courtier, Acadiana HS(2017)
A 5-foot-10, 160-pound outfielder with a lean, athletic frame. Fast-twitch athlete that posted a 4.03 home to 1^st time. Quality defender with average hands, fluid footwork, clean exchanges, and plays through balls athletically. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with some accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 78 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, and short stride. Line-drive type hitter with early rhythm, short path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 80 mph.

+ Cameron DeBate, Denham Springs HS(2017)
A 5-foot-5, 147-pound outfielder with a small, athletic frame. Solid defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchanges, and plays through balls athletically. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with some accuracy and carrry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 81 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, no load, leg kick, and explosive lower half. Line-drive type hitter with some rhythm, and short, compact path. Quality athlete that posted a 4.12 home to 1^st time.

+ Shamar Henry, Central(BR) HS(2017)
A 5-foot-9, 160-pound outfielder with a lean, athletic frame. Fast-twitch athlete that posted a 4.1 home to 1^st time. Solid defender with average hands, fluid footwork, and plays through athletically. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with some accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 84 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, and short stride. Opposite field type hitter with slightly uphill path, fluid rhythm and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 79 mph. Also posted a 4.15 home to 1^st time.

+ Daniel Segura, Westgate HS(2017)
A 5-foot-6, 154-pound outfielder with a medium, athletic frame. Solid defender with average hands, fluid footwork, clean exchanges and plays through balls. Long arm action into over-the-top release with some accuracy on throws and a positional velocity of 77 mph. Left-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load and leg kick.
