On Monday, Sept. 7, more than 80 players from across the state of Louisiana in the 2016-2019 classes participated in the Prep Baseball Report Prospect ID Showcase at St. Thomas Aquinas HS in Hammond, LA.

Today, Prep Baseball Report Louisiana takes a look at the pitchers that were in attendance.

Top Pitcher Prospects

1. Blayne Enlow, RHP, St. Amant HS(2017)
A 6-foot-3, 165-pound right-handed pitcher with a long, lean, athletic frame. Clean, easy arm action into a high-3/4 release with little effort. Smooth rhythm with level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and athletic. Fastball sat 89-91 with heavy sink and command. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with sharp, late break, tight spin and deception at 77-78 mph. Flashed changeup with fastball arm speed and fade action at 83 mph.

2. Aaron George, RHP, Ouachita Christian HS(2016)
A 6-foot-5, 220-pound right-handed pitcher with a large, strong, physically mature frame. A long arm action with slight stiffness into a ¾ release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Displays solid rhythm, lands square, with in-line direction and level shoulders. Fastball sat 89-91 mph with heavy sink, outstanding angle, deception and was commanded well. Flashed above average breaking ball with 10/4 shape with fastball arm speed, solid tilt and sharp, late break at 77-80 mph. Showed a changeup with near fastball arm speed at 80-81 mph.

3. Sean Tweedy, LHP, Northlake Christian HS(2016)
A 6-foot-1, 225-pound left-handed pitcher with a developed, strong frame. Short arm action, slight stab, into ¾ release with quick arm speed and some effort. Solid rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands open, and finishes upright. Fastball sat 85-89 mph with slight sink and command. Breaking balls showed sweeping action with late break and near fastball arm speed at 73-74 mph. Flashed straight changeup with near fastball arm speed at 74-78 mph.

4. Will Ripoll, RHP, George Ranch(TX) HS(2018)
A 5-foot-11, 171-pound right-handed pitcher with an average, athletic frame. Loose arm action into a high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and some effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes upright. Fastball sat 84-85 mph with late run and command. Breaking ball showed 10/4 shape with late break and near fastball arm speed. Flashed a quality changeup with fastball arm speed at 79-81 mph.

5. Adam Goree, LHP, Barbe HS(2017)
A 5-foot-11, 175-pound left-handed pitcher with an average, athletic frame. Loose arm action into a high-3/4 release with solid balance, front side and some effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, and lands square. Fastball sat 83-85 mph with command. Breaking ball showed 2/8 shape with sharp break and fastball arm speed at 70-73 mph. Showed quality changeup with near fastball arm speed, fade action at 74-75 mph.

A 5-foot-11, 170-pound left-handed pitcher with an average, athletic frame. Long arm action into a ¾ release with solid arm speed, solid balance and some effort. Developing rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands closed, and slightly falls off. Fastball sat 80-82 mph touching 84 with slight run and command. Breaking ball showed sweeping action with gradual break and near fastball arm speed at 71-72 mph. Flashed changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 75-76 mph.

A 5-foot-11, 185-pound right-handed pitcher with an average, strong frame. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with average arm speed, solid balance, and lots of effort. Slightly rushes the rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands closed and finishes upright. Fastball sat 77-78 mph with slight run and command. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with early break, near fastball arm speed at 60-61 mph.

A 6-foot-3, 200-pound left-handed pitcher with a large, strong frame. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with average arm speed and some effort. Solid rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands closed and finishes upright. Fastball sat 77-78 mph with slight run. Breaking ball showed 1/7 shape with gradual break and near fastball arm speed at 67-68 mph. Flashed straight changeup at 70-71 mph.

A 5-foot-7, 150-pound right-handed pitcher with a small, athletic frame. Long, loose arm action into a high-3/4 release with solid balance and some effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands open and falls off. Fastball sat 74-75 mph with slight cut and thrown for strikes. Breaking ball showed 10/4 shape with gradual break and spin at 67-69 mph.

+ Gary Cavallo, RHP, Northshore HS(2016)
A 6-foot, 187-pound right-handed pitcher with an average, strong frame. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with average arm speed and some effort. Solid rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, and lands square. Fastball sat 84-86 mph with slight run. Showed breaking ball with cutter action and late break at 76 mph. Flashed changeup with sink action, near fastball arm speed at 72-75 mph.

+ Jeff Crenshaw, LHP, Salmen HS(2016)
A 6-foot-1, 170-pound left-handed pitcher with a lean, athletic frame. Long, loose arm action into a ¾ release with solid balance and easy effort. Smooth rhythm with level shoulders, in-line direction, lands closed and slightly falls off. Fastball sat 82-83 mph touching 84 mph with slight run and command. Breaking ball showed 2/8 shape with gradual break and near fastball arm speed at 65-69 mph. Flashed changeup with near fastball arm speed at 69-70 mph.

A 5-foot-6, 120-pound right-handed pitcher with a small, athletic frame. Loose arm action into high-3/4 release with average arm sped and some effort. Smooth rhythm, uphill shoulders, in-line direction, and lands square. Fastball sat 74-75 mph with late run and command. Breaking ball showed 12/6 shape, early break and near fastball arm speed at 63-64 mph. Flashed changeup with slight sink action, near fastball arm speed at 69-70 mph.

A 5-foot-10, 190-pound left-handed pitcher with an average, strong frame. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with average arm speed and regular effort. Solid rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 79-80 mph with slight sink. A 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed pitcher with a strong, athletic frame. Long arm action, slight stab and wrap, into ¾ release with average arm speed. Solid rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction and lands square. Fastball sat 75-76 mph with command. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with gradual break at 68-69 mph. Showed straight changeup with near fastball arm speed at 71-72 mph.

+ Brett Fisackerly, RHP, Thomas Jefferson HS(2016)
A 6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed pitcher with a long, athletic frame. Stiff arm action into a high-3/4 release with some effort. Choppy rhythm with uphill shoulders, in-line direction and lands closed. Fastball sat 75-76 mph with slight run. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with gradual break, stiff wrist at 57-60 mph. Showed a changeup with cutting action at 66-68 mph.

+ Austin Hansel, RHP, John Curtis HS(2017)
A 6-foot, 160-pound right-handed pitcher with a lean, loose, athletic frame. Short arm action into a high-3/4 release with solid arm speed, some effort, some rhythm, uphill shoulders, in-line direction and lands open falling off. Fastball sat 82-83 mph with slight run. Breaking ball shows 11/5 shape, early break, near fastball arm speed at 62-64 mph. Flashes a changeup with near fastball arm speed, slight fade action at 74-75 mph.

+ Taylor Higgins, LHP, Denham Springs HS(2017)
A 5-foot-10, 130-pound left-handed pitcher with a lean, athletic frame. Shows a long arm action into a high-3/4 release with solid arm speed, some effort, quality rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction and lands square. Fastball sat 77-78 mph with late run. Breaking ball showed 12/6 shape with gradual break and near fastball arm speed. Also displayed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 69 mph.

+ Cameron Hyde, RHP, St. Amant HS(2017)
A 5-foot-8, 165-pound right-handed pitcher with a small, athletic frame. Short arm action into a high-3/4 release with average arm speed and effort. Some rhythm, shoulders fly open, slight fall to 1B side, and lands open. Fastball sat 77-79 mph with sink and command. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape early break and occasional deception. Flashed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 73-74 mph.

+ Austin Lambertson, RHP, Fontainebleau HS(2016)
A 6-foot-1, 175-pound right-handed pitcher with a lean, athletic frame. Loose arm action into a high-3/4 release with average arm speed, solid balance, and regular effort. Showed rhythm, level shoulders, falls slightly to 1B, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 84-86 mph with heavy sink and command. Breaking ball showed 10/4 shape with sharp break and near fastball arm speed at 71-73 mph. Flashed solid change up with near fastball arm speed and sink at 76-77 mph. Also posted a 7.19 60 yard dash.

A 5-foot-11, 160-pound right-handed pitcher with a lean, athletic frame. Long arm action with a slight stab into a high-3/4 release with regular effort. Some rhythm with uphill shoulder, in-line direction, lands open and finishes upright. Fastball sat 81-82 mph with slight run and command. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with gradual break, and solid spin at 69-70 mph. Flashed changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 75-76 mph.

A 6-foot-3, 215-pound left-handed pitcher with a large, strong frame. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with average arm speed and some effort.
