Louisiana State recruit, 2018 RHP/IF Will Ripoll (John Curtis HS, LA) has been named this week’s Prep Baseball Report Louisiana Player of the Week thanks to his outstanding performance on the mound for the Patriots last week.

Ripoll tossed a perfect game on Thursday night in a 10-0 win over district rival Rummel HS, and struck out 12 of 15 batters he faced.

Ripoll is currently 4-0 on the season with an ERA of 0.84, allowing seven hits, while striking out 44 and walking on six in 25 innings of work.

For his efforts, Ripoll has been named the Prep Baseball Report Louisiana Player of the Week for the week of March 18 – March 25.
