Louisiana State recruit and West Monroe OF Jacob Pearson has been named this week’s Prep Baseball Report Louisiana Player of the Week thanks to his outstanding performance at the plate last week.

Currently ranked No. 3 in Louisiana’s 2017 class, and No. 23 Overall, Pearson has had an illustrious career for the perennial power West Monroe Rebels.

Pearson went 12-for-20 on the week with 5 home runs. 12 RBI, 1 triple, 1 double and 2 stolen bases.

For his efforts, Pearson has been named the Prep Baseball Report Louisiana Player of the Week for the week of April 4 – April 11.
