2019 1B/RHP Elijiah Lavan (Kinder HS, LA) has been named this week’s Prep Baseball Report Louisiana Player of the Week thanks to his outstanding performance at the plate and on the mound for the Rams.

Lavan finished the week hitting .588 with 4 home runs and 14 RBI. On the mound, he also tossed a no hitter against Oak Grove, and a 2-hitter against Carencro.

Lavan is currently hitting .500 on the year with a .596 OBP, and a 2.40 ERA, striking out 17 in 14 innings of work.

For his efforts, Lavan has been named the Prep Baseball Report Louisiana Player of the Week for the week of March 4 – March 11.
