+ 2023 LHP Thomas Couvillon (St. Thomas More HS)
We had heard that the uncommitted southpaw had been up in the upper 80's in prior outings and ended up being probably the brightest prospect on the night. Only a few weeks out of basketball season, Couvillon showed an athletic delivery with some "funkiness" and deception, as he created some cross-fire action. He ran his FB up to 90 mph, primarily sitting 85-88 mph. His breaking ball had good shape and was thrown at 65-70 mph, but he'll need to sharpen that offering up a bit more as he continues to progress. Nonetheless, Couvillon has arm talent and with a 6'3" frame, one would think that there is more velocity to come, which makes him an arm that college programs will want to monitor moving forward.
