Eunice, LA - The PBR Louisiana Senior Games were held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at LSU-Eunice, home of the 7-Time NJCAA DII National Champions.  The event consisted of uncommitted prospects from Louisiana's 2024 class.  All players in attendance went through an extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman and Blast, the 60 yard dash using Swift Performance, and much more.  Pitchers were able to throw live against hitters and were able to receive their numbers and metrics off of Trackman, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more.  There were several college recruiters on hand for the event and there have already been several prospects who've received offers since Saturday.

Luke Babin, Lutcher (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: OF/LHP
Body: 5-9, 165-pounds. Athletic with strong lower-half
Hit: LHH. Starts in an open and upright stance with bat head laid rearward behind back shoulder, brings bat head back up during a toe-tap load and stride. Hand work first, inside/out path through contact and finishes uphill with two hands, chest stays on ball, really tries to work up the middle and to the opposite field gap on a line, smoked a ball to the pull-side in game. 52.6 mph bat speed with 18 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 82.5 mph. 300' max distance.
Arm: LH. OF-84 mph. Long arm swing with a high 3/4 release.
Defense: Athletic actions and footwork, caught the ball clean and out front off his right foot before moving into his crow hop.

Peyton Chiasson, Mandeville (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: OF/LHP
Body: 5-8, 165-pounds. Durable and physical
Hit: LHH. Starts in a slightly open and upright stance, simple load and stride to get to center. Stays inside and short to contact with slightly uphill extnesion and a two-handed finish, swings with intent and showed gap to gap power. 63.7 mph bat speed with 9 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 75.6 mph. 357' max distance.
Arm: LH. OF-77 mph. Quick arm stroke, OTT release.
Defense: Attacks the ball aggressively, fields the ball clean off his right foot, and gets rid of it quickly.

Jack Connaughton, Mandeville (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: OF/2B
Body: 5-7, 140-pounds. Athletic and lean
Hit: RHH. Starts in a wider base, hands at shoulder height, slight rock forward during a simple load and stride. Inside/out path, stays level to contact with flat extension and a two-handed finish, works mostly on a line or hard on the ground up the middle and to the opposite field gap. 52.4 mph bat speed with 22 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 84 max exit velocity, averaged 76.2 mph. 278' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-75 mph. Long arm action, OTT release.
Defense: Caught the ball clean and out front off his left foot, good reads off the bat, athletic actions.

Ian D'Amico, Zachary (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: OF/2B
Body: 5-8, 155-pounds. Athletic with strong lower-half
Hit: RHH. Athletic and balanced stance, uses a toe-tap load and stride to get to center. Cocks bat head back during toe-tap, gets on-plane early and stays on-plane to contact and up through extension with a one-handed finish, uses lower-half well to create gap to gap type pop. 66.5 mph bat speed with 37 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 79.9 mph. 297' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-81 mph. Short arm swing, high 3/4 release.
Defense: Caught the ball clean and out front off his left foot into his crow hop, got good jumps off the bat and moved athletically.

Tate Dickinson, Belle Chasse (LA), 2024

Body: 6-1, 170-pounds. Athletic with broad shoulders
Hit: RHH. Upright and balanced stance with hands held at shoulder height, uses a toe-tap load and stride. Short and direct path to contact with slightly uphill extension and a two-handed finish, keeps chest on the ball and stays balanced in back leg. Took good AB's in game and squared up a single to the opposite field gap in game. 65.6 mph bat speed with 10 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 84 max exit velocity, averaged 65.8 mph. 257' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-85 mph. Long arm swing, high 3/4-OTT release.
Defense: Athletic mover in the OF, got good jumps and reads, plays with some bounce and energy.

Aiden Domingue, Teurlings Catholic (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 6-1, 200-pounds. Physical.
Hit: RHH. Starts in a balanced and athletic stance and uses a toe-tap load and stride. Works down to contact with uphill extension and a two-handed finish, gap to gap type of approach. 62.6 mph bat speed with 11 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 79 max exit velocity, averaged 68.9 mph. 255' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-83 mph. Compact arm stroke, high 3/4 release.
Defense: Received the ball off his left foot out front with one hand, average actions and footwork, Corner OF profile.

Thomas Falcon, St Michael the Archangel (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-2, 172-pounds. Tall and lean.
Hit: RHH. Balanced and athletic stance with hands held at shoulder height, gets front heel up early before putting back down during a simple load. Draws hands back during load and bars front arm some which creates a little length in his flat path to contact with level extension, works across body some and finishes with two-hands, works mostly to pull-side on a line. 62.4 mph bat speed with 11 G's of rotational acceleration.

Dylan Gilbert, John Curtis Christian (LA), 2024

Body: 5-6, 155-pounds. Athletic and compact
Hit: RHH. Balanced and squared off stance with hands held at shoulder height, simple load and stride. Short levers allow him to stay short and compact to contact, stays level through extension with a two-handed finish, head stays still and stays balanced from start to finish, works mostly up the middle. 56.7 mph bat speed with 6 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 88 max exit velocity, averaged 76.5 mph. 313' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-87 mph. Short and quick arm action, OTT release.
Defense: Approaches the ball aggressively yet under control, receives with one hand clean off his left foot into his crow hop. Made a heck of a throw in game play from CF to gun a runner out at home plate.

Steep path to contact with level extension and a two-handed finish, hits off front foot some, but is able to maintain balance. 58.3 mph bat speed with 10 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 85 max exit velocity, averaged 75.0 mph. 274' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-77 mph. OF-83 mph. Short arm stroke, 3/4 release.
Defense: Average hands and actions, moved well laterally and showed he can play with one hand, showed a quick release when he had to and the ability to throw from different arm angles.

Deekota Johnson, Oakdale (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: 3B/OF
Body: 5-8, 141-pounds. Athletic and wiry
Hit: RHH. Tall and open stance with hands held high above back shoulder, uses a leg kick load and stride. Works straight down to contact with his hands and then stays flat through extension, gains some ground forward and hits off front foot, but stays balanced with chest on the ball. Drove a couple of pitches right back up the middle on a line during BP. 55 mph bat speed with 12 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 84 max exit velocity, averaged 75.5 mph. 263' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-82 mph. OF-86 mph. OF: Longer arm stroke with an OTT release. INF: Shorter arm stroke, low 3/4 release.

Conner Lacour, Catholic High Pointe Coupee (LA), 2024

Body: 5-8, 165-pounds. Athletic
Hit: LHH. Balanced and athletic stance with hands held below shoulder height, uses a toe-tap laod and stride. Short and inside path to contact with level extension and a two-handed finish, gap to gap hitter with some pop to the pull-side, caught a barrel in game to RCF for a double. 61.7 mph bat speed with 17 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 87.6 mph. 317' max distance.
Arm: LH. OF-79 mph. Long arm path with a 3/4 release.
Defense: Gathered feet behind the ball before gaining momentum moving through it into his crow hop, caught everything clean off his right foot with one hand.

Truman Moyer, Hahnville (LA), 2024
Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 6-1, 185-pounds. Athletic with long limbs.
Hit: RHH. Starts slightly open in a balanced stance with hands held at shoulder height, uses a modified leg kick load and stride. Hands come up during load, works down to contact with uphill extension and a two-handed finsh, spins off at times, but did show some pop to the pull-side gap. 64.7 mph bat speed with 11 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 73.3 mph. 296' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-89 mph. Long arm stroke, 3/4 release.
Defense: Good reads off the bat, moved through the ball in rhythm into his crow hop, strong arm from the OF with backspin and carry.
