With the release of our Updated Class of 2022 State Rankings, our scouting staff took a deeper dive into the prospects in the 2022 class. By position, we will comb through the list, highlighting some of the top talent in each class, and today we continue with right-handed pitchers.

Leading the way for 2022 right-handers is No. 6 DJ Primeaux (Central HS). The southpaw has flashed big time stuff over his career. With above average velocity and advanced spin metrics on the breaking ball, DJ has established himself as one of the top players in Louisiana’s 2022 class. No.7 Haydan Toal(Tioga HS) is another high end prospect in the 2022 class. Toal has shown a mid-80's fastball with feel to pitch.
