HOUSTON, TX - On Friday, Jacob Kelly (PBR Texas Associate Scout) attended a fall game between Texas A&M and Rice University. Here are several reports on some of the players that stood out. 

John Doxakis, LHP, Texas A&M, Jr.
Projectable pitcher’s frame at 6-foot-4, 205-pounds. The left-hander has an up-tempo delivery with a quick arm from a ¾ slot. Features a three-pitch with tons of strikes, keeping his pitch count low. Fastball topped out at 92, sitting mostly 89-91 with arm side life. Keeps his changeup at the bottom of the zone at 82-84 mph. Slider has lateral shape with sweeping action at 81-83 mph. Went two innings, punched out four batters.
